PreciousMetalShipping: Miles away (engl.)

„You know, I really hate you…“, the boy said. The other boy raised his head and looked in his face

“I know.”, he replied and continued to kiss his neck.

The red haired boy shivered. “Yeah…”, he mumbled, but he didn’t try to reject the black haired boy whose mouth was now wandering down to his shoulders, kissing them gently.

“And why exactly do you hate me now?”, the black haired boy asked, putting much effort in accenting the word “now”. He had stopped kissing the boy that sat in front of him and now looked up into his eyes.

“…Cause you make me feel so good…”, the red haired boy answered the question and then blushed out of embarrassment. He turned his face away, trying not the meet the other boys gaze.

“Aha… and what’s BAD about feeling GOOD?”

“It’s just… it’s not normal, don’t you think so?” The red haired boy brought himself to look back at the black haired and let his hands run through his hair. With his cold, silver eyes he was staring at his golden ones, but he felt kind of unsure when he looked in those. Was it wrong or was it right to be with him? To be `in love´ with him? He wasn’t sure about it.

“What do ya mean?”, the other boy mumbled, and he didn’t manage to hide this nervousness.

“Well…”, the red haired boy said, sighing, and running his hand trough his own hair, “Just look at us. We…”

“We were something like rivals, some time ago. Yeah. But what’s the deal?”

“No!”, the boy with the silver eyes said harshly and sighed again. “Maybe you didn’t realize it until now, but we are both guys!”, he continued with more than just sarcasm in his voice.

“Ooooh, that… Thanks for telling me. I didn’t know it…” Then the boy with the golden eyes laughed. “No, really. I don’t care…”

“Yeah, yeah… why did I even though for a minute that someone like YOU would care about that…?” He chuntered and closed his eyes. “It’s just… that I feel like… like there are so many miles between us…”

“What…?”

“You’re sitting here in front of me and if I raise my hand, I can… I can even touch your face, but…”

“So… what’s the matter?”

“You’re really not the clever one, you know!”

“I know, I know. That’s why I’m asking!” The black haired boy smirked and glared at his friend and lover with a accusing glance.

The red haired boy paused for an awkward moment, then he considered how to explain what he meant.

“Well… there’s Onee-chan, and there’s Crys, too. And so many other girls. So… why did I have to fall in love with you? With a boy?!”

“Eh? What’s this about? Why are you changing the subj-?”

“And then I was thinking about… what the others might think if they knew. What Onee-chan would say…”

“Please, I really don’t know what you’re on to...?!”

“Don’t you see that there’s a great abyss between us? A huge mountain? Or maybe just too many miles…?”

“…Silver…” The black haired boy looked kind of sad, even if he didn’t knew what Silver meant exactly. “Silver, no matter what… We’ll manage everything, as long as we are…”

“I don’t think so. Not like this. Not this way. We can’t hide it all the time. It’s no good.” Silver was desperate, and the other boy could see in his sad, silvery eyes that he was suffering. That’s why he lifted his arms and pulled them around his friend.

“Silver… I don’t know why you are always worrying about the estimation of the others! It’s US that counts, isn’t it? And don’t look at me this way, I know you are!”, he continued, patting the red haired boys back.

“…Maybe you are right…”, Silver sighed and closed his eyes again. He wasn’t convinced, after all, and he wasn’t sure who was right – he or his lover –, but he didn’t want to go further with his thoughts, which were full of doubts, and also desire.

“And because I make you feel good, you were doubting that our relationship is the right thing? …I don’t get it…”, the black haired boy mumbled and kissed Silvers left ear.

The other boy shivered for a moment, than he forced himself to smile. “Something like that…”, he answered, “But it’s also the fact that there are miles between us, Gold, that makes me… doubting…”

“I know. You’ve already told me this.”, Gold said, sighing, and continued caressing Silvers ear.

The red haired boy shivered again when he felt Gold’s kisses on his skin, but he just gulped to get rid of those strange feelings he just felt right now.

“There are… miles… between us.”

“Even if I don’t get what you mean by this… maybe I should just start running right now so that I can be by your side as soon as possible.” Gold had stopped caressing his unofficial boyfriend once again, and now he pulled him away, gently. And he looked deeply in his silvery eyes. “I’d do everything to be with you, you know?!”

Silver smiled softly, not knowing what to answer to this confession. “Yeah… you probably would…”, he mumbled as if it was canon, but then he continued: “You would?”

“Hell yeah, I would!”

“...Thank you.” Silver couldn’t stop smiling at Gold, and they both knew that this smile was a true, a honest, a happy smile – it was not faked, like it usually was when Silver smiled.

“I guess I’d do the same.”, Silver said after a few seconds of silence, and then he leaned forwards and kissed his lover gently on his cheeks. The tender cheeks of Gold were flushing in a bright red for a moment, then Silver felt that he was blushing too (he wasn’t sure if it was healthy to blush that often in such a short time). It was the first time that he was kissing Gold, and he had just realized this…

“I guess I have never even left your side.”, Gold said with a promising voice and held Silvers face between his palms. He slid his index finger under Silvers chin and raised his blushed face then. “…I really love you, Silver.”

“What?!” The boy with the red hair (and face, too) was completely speechless, but that could have also been caused by the kiss with which Gold was sealing his promise he had made with the last words. Silver knew that, too… He knew that Gold didn’t just mean “I love you”, he also meant that he would stay with him, perhaps for all time. Silver hoped it would be like this, but at the other hand he knew that everything was meant to have an end someday…

“I… me too…”, he stuttered and turned his head away, because he didn’t want to show his embarrassed countenance to his confident lover.

“Wow. It’s the first time you said this.”, Gold realized and couldn’t help but grin, “The other times you have just said something like…” He harrumphed and tried to imitate Silver: “`And I just hate you for saying this´. Blabla…”

Silver blushed again and coughed out of embarrassment. “Yeah, yeah, maybe… But I though you knew what I meant…”

“I knew it… or at least I know it now.”, Gold answered, referring to the conversation they had a few minutes ago. “You love me, but you’re just too shy to show it, right?”

“What?! That’s not what I said-!”

“Yeah, yeah…” Gold laughed kind of amused at Silvers blushing face. He knew this situation was really awkward for him, but he enjoyed teasing his lover a bit. It had always been fun to do so, even when they hadn’t been in love, long time ago.

“So… what should we do now?”

“Eh?” Now it was Gold whose face was turning red because of this unexpected question. “Wha-wha-what do you mean… we should do…?”

“No, I was talking about… what we should tell the others! What did YOU just think?!”

“Oh, nothing, really…”, Gold mumbled and scratched his nose nervously.

“Of course…”, Silver chuntered, “So… should we tell them or not?”

“Do you want to hide our relationship till the very end?”, he answered the question with another one. Silver understood, and nodded.

“So… we’ll better tell them… very soon.”

“Yeah, yeah…”, Gold said nervously, “I’m glad this topic is finished. How about doing something different now?”

“Wha-wha-what do you mean with `something different´?” Now it was Silver who was stuttering.

“I don’t know. Maybe you know.”, Gold said, grinning devilish. Silver gulped.

“Well… maybe I know…” He shrugged, and then pulled his arms around Gold, caressing his neck like Gold did before.

Now it was Gold who was shivering because of the unexpected movements of Silver. But then he smiled, satisfied. “Yeah, that’s exactly what I meant.”

“You little pervert…”, Silver mumbled when his mouth was close to Gold’s ear, but he smiled amused.

“I know.” Gold giggled for a moment, then it was his turn to kiss Silvers cold skin.

“Dear… your skin is always so cold… just like… you were really a bullion of silver…”

“Hm… maybe you are the gold-treasure then…”, Silver added amused.

“Hah, then we’re both precious metals, aren’t we?”

“Maybe…?”, Silver said, grinning, “And you’ll always be precious for me…” `…I hope…´, he added in his thoughts, but he remained silent ‘cause he didn’t want to ruin this sweet moment they were sharing.

“Thank you.”

Silver was really surprised that Gold stayed so calm and serious after this declaration.

“You’re welcome… always…”, he replied and sealed his words with a kiss.

Even if his mind had been full of doubts some time ago… Right now he was sure that Gold was the right one… He could just hope that he would think like this forever…

“And even if there might be miles between us some times… I’ll always run to you and stay by your side…”

Shea X Chelsea: Home (engl.)

She felt as happy as she hadn’t been since a while, when she walked over the bridge built in the summer two years ago. Since she had made the first step on the bridge that lead over the troubled water of a river, she knew what true happiness is. She had found her (Island of) Happiness just because of this wooden bridge. And now every time she walked over from the civilized society to the wild and natural jungle, she felt the freedom floating into her body and soul. And when she walked through the colorful woods and listened to the song of the wild birds and watched the play of nature, she felt that her home was here. Her home was THIS place.

She stopped in front of and wooden house with a roof made of leafs (she didn’t know how this shelter could stand the rain and the strong storms this island was known for). The young woman raised one hand and was just going to knock on the door when a voice – well known to her – called her name. She turned around and saw the young man she was looking for, running in her direction.

“Chelsea!”, he shouted again and the great smile on his face showed how happy he was to see her, “Chelsea, you came!”.

“Oh course, I promised!”, she said and grinned back at him, “But now… Why don’t you say `hello´ to me, first of all?”

“Oh, sorry. Shea didn’t mean to… well… Hello, Chelsea.” He looked kind of embarrassed, so Chelsea couldn’t help but laugh at him.

“Oh come on, this was a joke… But to greet me in the first place is really more polite, though…”, she added in a low voice, so that Shea couldn’t understand her words.

“Doesn’t matter.”, he said after he had looked at her with an irritated glance, “Why don’t come into house with Shea? Just finished hunting!”

She smiled at his funny way to speak, but then she shook her head. “No.”, she replied, “Let’s just go somewhere into the jungle. That’s much nicer than being in one room with all those creepy statues…”

She shivered at the thought of all those statues in Wada’s and Shea’s hut – she always felt like those stone-monsters, or whatever they are, were watching her. “By the way, are they your `gods´, or something…?”

“Gods?” He glanced at her for a few seconds, than he started to laugh. “No, no, not at all. Those are… well… Shea doesn’t know exactly, to be true…” He laughed again, but this time he sounded kind of nervous. That’s why he started to walk and took Chelsea’s hand, so she had to follow him.

“You don’t know?”, she muttered, but she accepted the fact that it was embarrassing for Shea not to know about those creepy stone-thingies.

For some time they walked side by side in silence, just listening to the symphony of nature and their own footsteps. Chelsea starred on Shea’s hand that hold hers tightly. She really didn’t mind that anymore. She was already used to this. It was kind of amusing for her to see how much Shea had changed since she met him for the first time…

“Here we are!”, Shea claimed happily and looked at the clearing besides the riverbank. He sat down on the grass in the shadows of the jungle-trees and told Chelsea to do so, too.

“Haah, long time since we’ve been here, isn’t it?”

Shea nodded as an answer and glared at the glittering surface of the water.

“You know, I just had to think about the first time we’ve met… Remember that?”

“Oh, yeah… I do…”, Shea said and sighted. He didn’t like to remember that day; not because he met Chelsea that day – yeah, he was so happy he had met his precious Chelsea -, but because he had acted like a complete fool. Or at least like an uncivilized native (and he was one, after all. He couldn’t change that so easily).

“I got lost in the jungle, and then you attacked me out of the nowhere.”, Chelsea laughed and nestled to the man at her side.

“Yeah… I thought you were a wild animal…”, he mumbled, totally embarrassed right now.

“So I look like a animal to you?”, she joked at him and acted like she was offended.

“No! Totally not! It was just… I didn’t know there existed other humans on this island, and I hadn’t seen a girl before, so… I thought it must be an animal… Sorry Chelsea.”

“Oh no!”, she sighted, “You can’t tell when I’m joking, can’t you?!”

“Hm?”

“You can’t…! But that doesn’t matter right now… Well, after that you’ve just took my arm and `showed´ this ´strange animal´ you’ve found to your father, didn’t you?”, she asked sarcastically.

This time Shea understood how she meant this and he grinned. “’Course I did! Shea wanted to know more about this beautiful animal. And he was told that it was a girl.” He put his arms around the `beautiful animal´ and hugged her tightly.

“And I’m happy to have attacked you, ‘cause that’s why I met Chelsea! My Chelsea!”, he claimed and smiled confidently at the brunette. She hugged him back and nodded. “If you say so.”, she added quietly.

“Ah, but there’s something I really would like to know, Shea!”, she shouted suddenly, so that Shea let her off his embracement.

“What’s it?”, he asked, panting because of the sudden surprise and the according shock.

“Oh, did I scare you?”, she asked, kind of amused, but turned her head in the direction of Wada’s house and the mysterious tower behind this.

“I just wanted to know more about the Wada-clan – Its history, or some stories… anything about it!”

Shea’s look paused at her for a moment, and then his eyes followed hers.

“Why want to know about it?”, he asked suspiciously.

“Oh, just… because I’m too curious…?” Her reply was more a question than an answer, but she didn’t want to say out loud what she thought that moment: “Because I might belong to it someday!” She wasn’t confident enough to make so obvious hints right now.

“Please, just tell me about it!”, Chelsea whined and made Shea laugh.

“Okay, okay! Will tell you about it… What should I start with?”

“Maybe… Just tell me why Wada is the only one left of his tribe, except you, of course. That might be enough for today.”

“Well… about 50 years ago, this island was populated just like it is right now. And the Wada-tribe lived here in the jungle, avoiding the society of the main island. The clan-leaders of those times, before the island became deserted, feared the influences all those modern people could have on the tribe, and so… it was Wada the 13th who finally resolved to destroy the bridge to the main island. And that’s why the bridge was destroyed for so long – because they feared the modern influences…”

“Wow, that’s what I would call integration-intolerance of both sides.” Chelsea laughed, but not because she was amused; she just couldn’t understand why they had to destroy this bridge. It had been very expensive to rebuild it!

“I guess you’re right.”, Shea said, because he didn’t even know what “integration-intolerance” meant.

“Yeah, yeah! Pleaaaase continue!”, Chelsea whined again and made Shea shaking his head because of her childishness, kind of amused (again).

“After the bridge was destroyed, they didn’t hear the news from the main island anymore, of course. And so they didn’t even know about those horrible storms… Wada the 14th was the first one who realized that something was wrong. He swam to the main-land and found it nearly deserted. All the people were gone and the houses were barricaded. And then he found a baby…”

“It was you, wasn’t it?”, Chelsea realized that this was ways more interesting than the previous parts of the story.

“Shea guess so… or I have a brother I don’t know about.”, Shea laughed, and then he continued: “He took the baby and wanted to get back to his tribe that was waiting for the news of their leader… but… that was when the storms started to blow. Wada hid himself and me, and waited for the storms to stop. He waited two days, until he could head back…”

Shea paused for a moment. Chelsea could see that this story affected himself in his heart, even if he wasn’t a full member of the clan.

“When Wada and I came back, everything was destroyed. And all the tribe-members were dead. Wada knew that the tribe will die off, because we don’t have a single woman anymore.” – Chelsea growled offended – “And since then… Wada is like he is.”

“You mean… he’s so quiet because of that?”

“Yes, exactly!”

“Wow… I didn’t know your tribe has such a dark history…”

“`Dark´? But why? The sun was shining very often!”

“Oh, just forget it.” Chelsea grinned and stood up. “Let’s go back… I still have some work to do.”

“Oh…” Shea’s look became very sad and he glanced at her with his shining, brown eyes.

“No, don’t look at me like this! You know that I…”

But then she sighted and smiled cheerfully at him.

“Will Chelsea come back tomorrow?”, the young man asked and stood up, so that he had to look down at her.

“Yes, Chelsea will come back. I promise!”

“Okay, Chelsea… I hope tomorrow will come soon.”

“Oh, dear, I don’t hope so. There are still lots of work to do.”, she replied, but she laughed before Shea could misunderstand her words.

“Will be counting the minutes, I promise.”, Shea said like Chelsea always did.

“But don’t forget to think about me while you are counting.” The young woman said honestly.

“Don’t worry. I don’t even know how long a minute is…”

“Haha. If that’s how it is, I really don’t have to worry.”

Then she got on her tiptoes and kissed Shea softly. He was surprised for a moment, but then he kissed her back.

“So, but now I really have to head home, before my animals start to worry.” She laughed at her own joke and took Shea’s hand then.

“I really love you.”, she said, and her words were true and honest.

Shea smiled t her. “Shea knows. And I love you too, Chelsea.”

Then he let her hand go, and she disappeared between the green trees.

“She is going home.”, Shea muttered to himself and looked at the place he had just seen her a few seconds ago. “Home…”

Discrepancy (Russia & China) (engl.)

„Hallo, I’m Russia.“, he said.

China turned around.

There was a young boy standing behind him. He was small and thin, his hair was sandy and his eyes were shining in a deep blue color.

It was the first time he had met him.

But still there was something in the eyes of the young boy that attracted him – something that made him think he’d known the boy for a long time. Something… he had already seen before.

There was loneliness in the boy’s eyes. Like it was in his own.

“What… do you want, aru?”, the Asian asked, not sure what to say to the boy who was looking at him with sad looking eyes.

It was like they were going to break into thousands of shards.

“…Nothing.”, he said with a calm, emotionless voice. And his eyes filled with tears.

The tears ran down his cheeks, but the boy’s facial features didn’t change a bit. He was hurt. Hurt because of nothing.

Because there was nothing. Nothing in his heart.

China was surprised, but because of the boy’s sad gaze he contained himself.

“You said ‘nothing’, but you’re lying, aru.”, China vocalized the obvious.

Then he put his arms around the young boy.

“Don’t cry, aru. You’re not alone.”

The boy’s eyes widened in astonishment.

“Really?”, he whispered in the ear of the older Asian.

“Really.”

“So…”, the young boy asked, resting his head on the Asian’s shoulder, “Do you love me?

The boy’s words raised China a smile.

“I do, aru.”, he answered reassuring.

He wanted him to feel welcome. To feel accepted.

Russia closed his eyes and smiled.

It was the first time he was smiling.

Years had gone by, and Russia had grown up. He wasn’t the innocent, young boy China had met back then anymore. He wasn’t the child with the calming smile, the child that wanted to be loved.

He had become a cruel man.

China didn’t even know when exactly the boy had changed into the monster he was now. He never realized that Russia had changed… until it was too late.

The old Asian peered through the window glass, searching for something he didn’t even know himself. Somehow, he still hoped that the young boy, the innocent child, would come back some day; he would run through his garden, trip over the stones, stand in front of his door, smiling, and saying: “Good morning, brother.”

Deep in his heart China knew that the young boy would never come back anymore. The boy was dead. He had been killed – by that cruel, heartless being he was now.

“Hallo, China.”

China didn’t turn around.

He knew this voice too well. He already knew who it was.

It was the man, the guilty, dreadful man he didn’t want to know anymore.

“What… do you want, aru.”, he asked, and his voice was shaking – because of fear; because of sadness.

“…Nothing.”, the man said, smirking.

He walked over to China, turning his arms around the Asian, and snuggled his face against the elder’s neck.

China shivered. He wanted to push the man away, but he couldn’t. He still had to think of the innocent boy that was hurt so easily.

Maybe, just maybe… he was still there, somewhere in the depth of the man’s soul. Somewhere… there…

“…You are lying, aru. I know it.”

But the man just rose his head and continued to smirk, smiling the fakest smile China had ever seen before.

“You hurt my feelings, China.”, the man said, kissing the Asian’s neck with his lips which were cold as the snow the man was used to.

“What if I cry now? Won’t you hug me then?”

China bit his lips in order to stop himself from saying something foolish. Even if the young boy wasn’t there in the depths of the man’s soul… he didn’t want to hurt him.

“China, you’re alone.”, the man mumbled, smiling devilish, “There is no-one in the world who accepts you the way you are right now. No-one but me, da.”

The Asian bit his lips again, this time for stopping the pain in his heart.

He knew the man was right. There really was no-one who accepted him. Even his brothers and sisters had turned their backs to him. No-one even paid him a visit anymore; no-one wanted to be his friend; no-one told him “It’s alright. You’re fine as you are”. No-one.

“Really…”, China whispered, trying to stop the tears which were falling down from his face and left dark, brown spots on the other man’s cloak.

“China.”, the man said, still smirking, “You’ll never get away from me, da.”

Never. In his mind, the older repeated this word ever and ever again. This single word meant anything, and it meant nothing at the same time.

He’d never be alone – and he’d never be free again.

It was his fault. All his fault. Just because he loved the young boy back then. Just because he wanted to help him.

Because of this, no-one could ever help him.

Russia would never ever let him go.

China turned around and looked at the man. Back then, he was so small, so innocent, so cute.

And now he was tall, forceful, powerful. Stunning and cruel at the same time.

China felt like he was going to cry once again.

Why had the young boy changed that much?

“Where have you gone, young boy, aru…?”, China whispered, clinging his fingers into Russia’s cloak.

But Russia ignored the elder’s words and continued to smirk.

“China.”, he said, raising the Asian’s head with his hand and looking deep into his eyes, “Do you love me?

Now the words had a different meaning. Very different from back then.

China closed his eyes and felt the regrets growing in his mind.

“I do, aru.”, he lied.
