| this is my contribution to the "Knite"-character drawing Contest to *yuumei's Doujinshi on deviantart.com... It took me hours to do this drawing, but I'm more or less satisfied with it. Done in fineliner and copics colour. - - - CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Name: Nan Long Age: 17 Hair colour: black Eye colour: yellowish gold Skin colour: white Nationality: chinese Kite: Dragon Background: After the death of his father (Nan Long was 10 years old), his mother forced him to be strong and to replace his father. So Nan Long tried to suppress his own wishes and feelings to be there for his familiy and to sustain his mother. He quit school when he was 15; now he works in a traditional tea house as a waiter. His younger brother Bei (13) suffers from a cerebral tumour, and for Nan, it's much harder to let him go than dying is for Bei. Bei always fancied kites, and Nan joined the Knites to make his brother happy until he has to die. |
