The Special One
There are some men who enter a woman’s life and screw it up forever.
But there also exist the one man who keeps a woman’s heart and knows what precious treasure he’s holding in his hands.
Elena has often encouraged herself by these thoughts.
She had got to know so many different types of guys because of her job, but basically they were all the same:
Egoistic snobs, not able to respect or accept an emancipated woman offering her own opinion.
Would the special one one day knock on Elena’s door and give her all the affection that she needed?
Or was it only a naive dream, a wish without a chance of becoming true ever?
“Yo ‘Lena, open, it’s rainy, ya know?”, a familiar voice asked interrupting Elena’s thoughts.
Who could it be?
She didn’t expect anyone…
Before getting up from her comfortable bed, she sighed and put a hand to her head.
She tried to memorize if she had planned anything for that evening, but she couldn’t remember at all. So she walked slowly to the wine red door and opened it carefully, now expecting everything.
“Reno!”, a good-looking man entered Elena’s small flat.
“What you’re doing here?”, she asked definetly surprised trying to make herself look better by attempting to fix up her golden ruffled hair.
“Have to tell ya something… I’m sorry of what I’ve done yesterday at Seventh Heaven”, Reno was speaking without his typically smile.
Yeah, yesterday they had a big argument about stupid job stuff.
Both were Turks, kind of bodyguards who killed people if they had to (okay, if Rufus ShinRa told).
Normally there was no reason for arguing, but they did hardly and Elena was still angry.
A few words couldn’t take the pain away she felt.
“I was drunk and… El…”, her red-haired co-worker came closer to Elena.
His look was sad… he really had to feel sorry for what he had done last night in this bar.
She couldn’t bear seeing him like this.
He, the always smirking immature boy who felt never bad anyway.
“Please… I had enough time to think about it and… now I know why I kicked your date out and yelled that harshly. Elena~”, his cheeks turned to a light pink and his voice became warm and calm.
The first time in his life he tried to offer a woman his true feelings.
“The real reason why I acted so asshole-like… it wasn’t our job neither the alcohol…”, he shrugged, “okay, maybe I drunk a little too much…”
Elena raised an eyebrow and blushed simultaneously.
Was this guy really trying to-
No… that couldn’t be.
He always made fun of her, the rookie and besides… this charming man could get all women he wanted… so why should he take her?
But maybe…
She remembered her thoughts… the special one who will knock on her door… could it be him?
“What… What-what I wanna say is… El… I… I do… uhm… really like… ah”, he was cut off by the dainty blonde who put her lips against his softly.
The redhead first didn’t realize what was happening, but he felt a pleasant tingle in his stomach going to his toes and head right into his fingertips.
Elena put her arms around his neck while their kiss became more sensitive.
Even if it was against all their rules and inhibitions… The kissing couple felt so inexplicably right that everything else seemed to be insignificant. The only important thing was him and her offering each other a passionate kiss.
Elena, I love you
Yeah, so do I, Reno
And both felt the special one knocking softly on their heart and holding it carefully in their hands forever.

Kind of short, I know ^^” I really wanted to write more and more and more but… It was a homework and my teacher wanted only a shooooort story, “Special One” is already too long OO but she did like it -^___^-
